| First of all my background in really in exercise. I have a BS in Exercise Physiology. Stick with compound exercises, especially the big 3, Squat DL, BP. Train as heavy as you can, yet still manitain perfect form (I pulled a pec because of lifting too sloppy). I am big fan of short intense workouts. Read about the Westside Barbell club. Louis Simmons has some of the best theories on size, strenght exercises. I spent a year training wioth the assistant strength coach at Auburn University (Alabama), and their program is almost identical to what Louis recommends. Whatever you do, do not get into the "high reps for cuts" mentality. You get lean doing cardio, not lifting a weight 20 times. I have trained with a few bodybuilders and none of them do any high rep work.
